The Persistent German Airborne Surveillance System (PEGASUS) is a Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) aircraft based upon the Bombardier Global 6000 business jet. The PEGASUS program contract was awarded to HENSOLDT, Lufthansa Technik Defense and Bombardier in 2021. The PEGASUS aircraft first flight was carried out in October 2024.
